Series "Targets" is a part of a greater project "Hunt on the Minotaur" that refers to the well-known ancient myth on the labyrinth and the Minotaur. The Belarusian artist puts the classical myth in the modern context with the slogan: "Everything has been already invented!" "All goals have been found, all treasures have been dug out, - says Ruslan Vashkevich. - All that's left for us is "action" and shooter games."
Thus, the targets become not real but imaginaryobjects-targets against the background of ancient cultural ruins. The images of women circultating in the modern mass media are the bait for the hunter on the Minotaur. But if we take a closer look, we'll see that fundamentally they are nothing more than a "fake".
